Partnerships & Outreach Volunteer – Build Volt Norge's Network
Volt Norge's positions on Europe, democracy, and Norway's future resonate far beyond our current membership. Student organisations, civil society groups, NGOs, and youth movements across Norway share many of our values — they just don't know we exist yet. Your job would be to change that.
As a Partnerships & Outreach Volunteer, you'd be the person building Volt Norge's external relationships from the ground up — identifying aligned organisations, making first contact, and laying the groundwork for collaborations that expand our reach and credibility in Norwegian public life.
About Volt Norge & Volt Europa
Volt Norge is the Norwegian chapter of Volt Europa — Europe's first truly pan-European political party, with over 42,000 members and parliamentary representation across three countries. We are a registered NGO in Norway, in active early-stage growth, working toward becoming a political party. Learn more at voltnorway.org.
What You'll Be Doing
Map and identify Norwegian organisations, student groups, NGOs, and civil society actors aligned with Volt Norge's values
Initiate and maintain relationships with external partners on behalf of Volt Norge
Represent Volt Norge at relevant events, panels, and networking opportunities
Work with the communications team to amplify partnership activity publicly
Help define what a Volt Norge partnership strategy looks like — this doesn't exist yet
What We're Looking For
Confident communicator, comfortable reaching out cold and following up persistently
Organised and self-directed — you'll need to manage your own pipeline of contacts
Genuine interest in European politics, Norwegian civil society, or civic engagement
Proficiency in Norwegian and English
At least 2–4 hours availability per week
No prior experience required — a background in networking, student politics, or community organising is a bonus
What You'll Gain
